Legendary rocker Jimmy Barnes has spoken concerning the emotional second he met his son David Campbell for the primary time after abandoning him at delivery.
The Australian singer, 68, and his son David spoke about their relationship throughout a joint interview on Richard Wilkins and his son Christian’s present The Apple & The Tree.
Chilly Chisel star Jamie defined how he advised David he was his father when he was 10 years previous after spending time with him on a number of events.
“I used to go to see David when he was little however he did not know who I used to be. “It should have been very unusual for him,” Jimmy admitted.
“I used to be on tour with Chilly Chisel and I’d get hungry and placed on a leather-based jacket and are available again.”
David was raised by his grandmother, whom he believed to be his adoptive mom, and who he believed was his teenage mom, Kim, to be his sister.
David used to see Jimmy when he was rising up however thought he was only a household pal, till he found the reality.
“I discovered once I was 10. It was very complicated,” David stated.
